Refund Policy - Tuition Fees

No refund of tuition fees will be permitted.

The request must outline the special circumstances that may warrant a refund. The request will be reviewed and the student will be contacted in writing.

ú Fees for Resources

Some courses require textbooks and resource materials such as audio or video tapes and CD-ROMS that you may borrow from the VLN. You’ll be asked to pay a refundable deposit when you register. Bring your books and materials back when you finish the course, or if you choose to withdraw, and your textbook deposit will be refunded.

Some courses offer optional equipment or resources which you may borrow for a reasonable deposit, such as a microscope for Biology 11 or video tapes for Physics 12. Other courses, such as Art and Biology, require kits that you will use up, and these must be purchased from us.  We strongly recommend that you obtain materials from the VLN to ensure you have the correct publications and versions that match your course.

If you decide to obtain your materials elsewhere, make sure you obtain all the materials you will need to complete the course. The VLN will not loan you your choice of materials from the required list.

If you are missing any of your course materials, please contact Cynthia Benedict at cbenedict@vsb.bc.ca

ðHow do I collect my Course Materials?

You may pick up your resource materials in person, or we will mail them to you. If a particular item is out-of-stock, the Bookroom will mail it to you as soon
